12' Spirit Hand Drum. Hand Crafted from 150-year-old North Florida grown rainbow magnolia and Bufalo hide from Montana.
This native hand drum was hand crafted by Lakota Fire Man (Peta Wicasa) A Road Man and Sundance Fire Chief. It came from a rainbow magnolia tree that was in a burn pile actually on fire. The tree was around 200 years old. He saved it from becoming ashes and turned it into a beautiful spirit drum. The design is North American Plains Indian (Lakota) style. It is a magnificent piece of nature and beauty. This is one of five that were made from this slab. The fact that this drum was constructed from two distant places coming together to create the sweetest drum. When you think about it, Montana is a long way from Florida.
